This small mountain village in British Columbia is Riley’s escape, too. But with only one season left on his working holiday visa, his time is running out. The last thing he wants to do is spend his final season in the snow looking after a woman who seems like she belongs on the beach instead of the mountain.

But when the two end up snowed in to Lara’s tiny cabin before the snowboarding season has even begun, the pair forge an unlikely friendship. And as the winter unfolds and their feelings grow, they’re faced with the realisation that their relationship has a finite end date.
